About VecFast
VecFast turns images into clean vector files — SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF and PNG — right in your browser. It is free, needs no sign-up, adds no watermark, and never uploads your images: the conversion runs on your own device.
What it is good at
- Logos, icons and flat illustrations: colours are snapped to the image's real inks and every colour becomes its own layer, ready to edit in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape.
- Cutting and making: DXF for laser cutters, CNC and CAD; SVG for Cricut and Silhouette.
- Images made with AI tools: drop in a picture from an image generator and get a vector you can scale and recolour.
How it works
VecFast reads the image, decides what kind of picture it is (a flat logo, shaded art, a photo), cleans it up (finding the real colours, sharpening blurry edges, removing fake transparency grids), traces it with the open-source VTracer engine, then straightens lines, fits gradients and optimises the file. Every step runs in your browser with WebAssembly.
Who makes it
VecFast is an independent project from Seoul, Korea. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome: use the 👍 / 👎 under a result, or write to [email protected].
